The mountain light overton sole is made by vibram but is made of a slightly different material than the standard mountain light which is the classic hiking sole design. Danner boots are known for narrow lasts so going up in width is common. Overall though they are very comfortable. I m going to give these boots a five star rating just because they seem to be well made and are relatively light.

Reviewed in the united states on january 24 2017 i m going to give these boots a five star rating just because they seem to be well made and are relatively light. The overton s sole is quite a bit slicker when transitioning from wet outside conditions to a smooth inside surface such as poured concrete like you might have in a garage or linoleum. I kicked the crap out of these boots for well over 400 miles in caves through briars and on gnarly rock outcroppings. Even though i d read all the reviews i did get my regular size and they do tend to fit about a half size large.

I finally bought these off amazon using a 20 off coupon combined with a gift card. Overall though they are very comfortable. This is the most comfortable boot i ve tested and it keeps getting more comfortable the longer i use it.
